npre is a California non-profit that promotes and accelerates access to clean energy homeownership.
We assist homebuyers and homeowners in the purchase and sale of their homes, and we use the traditional real estate commission to equip those homes with fully-paid renewable energy systems.
Our organization was largely inspired by the work and success of the Keep Your Home California organization, which served California homeowners from 2011-2018, and by the 2008 National Housing Institutes (NHI) commissioned report on undertaking policy reforms to improve the ability of nonprofits to provide innovative real-estate and clean energy solutions.
